गणेश वंदना: जिनके स्मरण मात्र से सिद्धि होती है, जो गणों के नायक और हाथी जैसे मुख वाले हैं — वे बुद्धि के भंडार और शुभ गुणों के निवास मुझ पर अनुग्रह करें। Ganesha Invocation: Merely remembering whom brings success, who is the lord of the ganas, elephant-faced — may He, the treasury of wisdom and home of all auspicious qualities, bestow His grace upon me.
दिव्य कृपा: जिनकी कृपा से गूंगा भी वाचाल हो जाता है और लंगड़ा ऊँचे पहाड़ चढ़ सकता है — वे दयालु, समस्त कलि-दोष को जलाने वाले प्रभु मुझ पर कृपालु हों। Divine Grace: By whose grace the mute becomes eloquent and the lame climbs high mountains — may that compassionate Lord, who burns all the impurities of this age, be gracious to me.
सीताराम-दर्शन: सारे जग को सीताराममय जानकर, मैं दोनों हाथ जोड़कर उन्हें प्रणाम करता हूँ। यही तुलसीदासजी की साधना का मूल है — हर प्राणी में राम का दर्शन। The Vision of Sita-Ram: Knowing the entire world to be pervaded by Sita and Rama, I bow to them with both hands joined. उत्तरकाण्ड में तुलसीदासजी ने रामराज्य का वर्णन किया है — जहाँ न कोई दुःख, न कोई रोग, न अकाल मृत्यु। यह वर्णन विश्व के सबसे प्रसिद्ध उद्धरणों में से एक है। In Uttar Kand, Tulsidas describes Ram Rajya — where there is no suffering, no disease, no untimely death. This passage is among the most quoted in all of world literature.
उत्तरकाण्ड से — जब राम राजा बने तो सारी सृष्टि में सुख और धर्म की लहर फैल गई। From Uttar Kand — when Rama became king, a wave of happiness and righteousness spread through all of creation.
दैहिक दैविक भौतिक तापा।
राम राज नहिं काहुहि ब्यापा॥
सब नर करहिं परस्पर प्रीती।
चलहिं स्वधर्म निरत श्रुति नीती॥
अल्पमृत्यु नहिं कवनिउ पीरा।
सब सुंदर सब बिरुज सरीरा॥
नहिं दरिद्र कोउ दुखी न दीना।
नहिं कोउ अबुध न लच्छन हीना॥
पंक्ति १–२: शारीरिक, दैवीय और भौतिक — तीनों प्रकार के ताप (कष्ट) रामराज्य में किसी को नहीं सताते। Lines 1–2: The three kinds of suffering — physical, divine, and earthly — afflict no one in Ram Rajya.
पंक्ति ३–४: सभी लोग परस्पर प्रेम करते हैं। हर कोई अपने स्वधर्म का पालन करता है और वेद-शास्त्रानुसार जीवन जीता है। Lines 3–4: All people love one another. Everyone follows their own dharma and lives according to the wisdom of the scriptures.
पंक्ति ५–६: कोई अकाल मृत्यु नहीं, कोई रोग नहीं। सभी के शरीर स्वस्थ और सुंदर हैं। Lines 5–6: No untimely death, no disease. Everyone's body is healthy and beautiful.
पंक्ति ७–८: कोई निर्धन नहीं, कोई दुःखी और दीन नहीं। कोई मूर्ख नहीं और न कोई शुभ-लक्षणों से हीन। Lines 7–8: No one is poor, unhappy, or miserable. No one is ignorant or lacking in auspicious qualities.

सुंदरकाण्ड रामचरितमानस का सर्वाधिक पाठ किया जाने वाला काण्ड है। हनुमानजी की शक्ति का जागरण, उनकी लंका-यात्रा और उनका अटल संकल्प — यह भक्ति की पराकाष्ठा है। Sundara Kand is the most recited Kanda of Ramcharitmanas. जामवंत के वचन सुहाए।
सुनि हनुमंत हृदय अति भाए॥
भावार्थ — जामवंत के मधुर वचन सुनकर हनुमानजी का हृदय अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुआ। जब गुरु या वरिष्ठ उचित समय पर हमारी शक्ति याद दिलाते हैं, तो जीवन की दिशा बदल जाती है। Meaning — Hearing Jambavan's sweet words, Hanuman's heart was filled with great joy. When a mentor reminds us of our power at the right moment, the direction of life changes.

राम काज कीन्हें बिनु मोहि कहाँ बिश्रामा।
जन्म जन्म रटत प्रभु सुनहु श्रवन यह नामा॥
भावार्थ — राम का काज किए बिना मुझे विश्राम कहाँ? जन्म-जन्म से मैं यही नाम रटता आया हूँ — हे प्रभु, इन कानों से यही नाम सुनिए। यह भक्त के समर्पण का सर्वोत्कृष्ट उद्गार है। Meaning — Without completing Rama's work, where is my rest? Birth after birth I have chanted this very name — O Lord, hear it with these ears. This is the supreme expression of a devotee's dedication.

जौं रघुबीर होहिं अनुकूला।
तव भव तरिहि बिनहिं अनुकूला॥
भावार्थ — यदि रघुवीर प्रसन्न हों, तो तुम्हारा यह भव-सागर बिना किसी अन्य सहारे के पार हो जाएगा। यह वचन अशोक वाटिका में हनुमानजी ने सीताजी से कहे — विश्वास और आशा का संदेश। Meaning — If Raghuvira is pleased, you will cross this ocean of worldly existence without any other support. These words were spoken by Hanuman to Sita in the Ashoka grove — a message of faith and hope.

द्रवउ सो दशरथ अजिर बिहारी॥
जो मंगल के घर हैं और अमंगल को हरते हैं, वे दशरथ के आँगन के विहारी मुझ पर कृपा करें। May He who is the home of all auspiciousness and the destroyer of all ill — who played in Dasharatha's courtyard — be gracious to me.
जाकी रही भावना जैसी।
प्रभु मूरत देखी तिन तैसी॥
जिसकी जैसी भावना रही, उसने प्रभु की मूर्ति वैसी ही देखी। भगवान हर भक्त के हृदय की भावना के अनुसार दर्शन देते हैं। As was the feeling (bhavna) in one's heart, so was the form of the Lord they beheld. God appears to each devotee in the form their heart envisions.
धीरज धरम मित्र अरु नारी।
आपद काल परखिए चारी॥
धैर्य, धर्म, मित्र और पत्नी — इन चारों की असली परीक्षा विपत्ति के समय होती है। Patience, righteousness, a friend, and one's partner — these four are truly tested only in times of adversity.
भायँ कुभायँ अनख आलसहूँ।
नाम जपत मंगल दिसि दसहूँ॥
प्रेम से, अप्रेम से, क्रोध से या आलस्य से भी — राम का नाम जपने से दसों दिशाओं में मंगल होता है। Whether with love, without love, in anger, or even lazily — chanting Rama's name brings auspiciousness in all ten directions.
रामहि केवल प्रेम पिआरा।
जानि लेउ जो जाननिहारा॥
राम को केवल प्रेम प्यारा है — जो जानना चाहे, वह जान ले। न जाति, न धन, न रूप — केवल हृदय का प्रेम। Rama loves only love — let whoever wishes to know, know this. Not caste, not wealth, not beauty — only the love of the heart.
हानि लाभ जीवन मरन यश अपयश बिधि हाथ॥
हानि और लाभ, जीवन और मृत्यु, यश और अपयश — ये सब विधाता के हाथ में हैं। चिंता छोड़कर कर्म करो। Loss and gain, life and death, fame and infamy — all are in the hands of the Creator. Do your duty and leave the rest.
सकल पदारथ हैं जग माहीं।
करमहीन नर पावत नाहीं॥
संसार में सब कुछ उपलब्ध है, पर कर्महीन मनुष्य उसे नहीं पाता। कर्म और पुरुषार्थ के बिना भाग्य भी नहीं खुलता। All good things exist in this world, but the one who makes no effort does not receive them. Without action and endeavour, even destiny does not open.
तुलसी साथी विपत्ति के विद्या विनय विवेक।
साहस सुकृति सुसत्यव्रत राम भरोसे टेक॥
तुलसीदास कहते हैं: विपत्ति में साथी हैं — विद्या, विनय, विवेक, साहस, सुकृति, सत्यव्रत, और राम का भरोसा। Tulsidas says: In adversity, your companions are — learning, humility, wisdom, courage, good deeds, truthfulness, and trust in Rama.
सुमति कुमति सब के उर रहहीं।
नाथ पुरान निगम असि कहहीं॥
सद्बुद्धि और कुबुद्धि दोनों सबके हृदय में निवास करती हैं। हे नाथ, पुराण और वेद ऐसा ही कहते हैं — कौन-सी जागे, यह हमारी भक्ति और संग तय करते हैं। Both good wisdom and foolishness dwell in every heart. O Lord, the Puranas and Vedas say so — which one awakens is determined by our devotion and the company we keep.
